VR Game design (Virtual Environment class group project)

Although virtual reality has become more common in households, most games do not support co-located gameplay, as it happens on gaming consoles. The In-Between is a co-located multiplayer game that supports two players using only two controllers and one headset.
Additionally, we explore the limits of human spatial orientation, working memory, and sound localization as building blocks of game mechanics. Initial evaluation results shows that our approach can lead to unique and fun gameplay.
My role in this team project was to design the level. I worked with the VR programmer to optimize the 3D assets for virtual reality. I also designed other UI element and game art.
